Women around the world found freedom in the skies during the romantic age of flight—although such freedom rarely meant they could make a career out of flying. Often working in anonymity, it took pioneering women more than 50 years to push open all of the career cockpit doors. Join us in exploring this exhilarating time in aviation history—from the first women who flew in war, to those who joined up with airlines back home, and those who blasted off to the stars as well. Guided tours are on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays at 2:00 pm. Tours are free with paid admission. Tours are always free for our members.
