Discover one of Canada’s most remarkable aviation stories at the Commonwealth Air Training Plan Museum in Brandon, Manitoba. Located in an original Second World War hangar at the former No. 12 Service Flying Training School, CATPM is both a museum and an active aviation hangar, home to Canada’s largest fleet of flying Second World War training aircraft. Historic aircraft, vehicles, artifacts, photographs, buildings and personal stories bring the British Commonwealth Air Training Plan to life.
Get up close to the aircraft and discover the people of the CATPM, from aircrew and instructors to ground crews, medical personnel, families and communities. More than 80 years later, some of these historic training aircraft still take to the skies. CATPM is also home to Canada’s only memorial dedicated solely to those who lost their lives while serving with the British Commonwealth Air Training Plan.
